K(-A-)O

by Kenji Shinohe
Iwate, Japan
15 minutes

The theme of the piece is the symbolization of feelings. Human emotional expressions have become poorer in the information society. On the internet, one can have a neutral face even if they are happy or sad, or pretend another emotion they don’t feel. We send emoticons and symbols according to our own feelings. While doing so, all human’s infinite expressions and emotions become poorer and less complex.
K(-A-)O ask you, how can we get back our feelings?
