In ‘Tales to Disturb’, two dancers engage with the audience, exploring how to convey their emotions through minimal facial and bodily expression. A grey zone emerges when the displayed emotions differ from the true feeling, often as a means to conceal. This raises an important question: can we still appear truthful when expressing staged emotions, or does the authentic emotion inevitably surface?
