‘Speechless’ is inspired by a family going through economic hardship, bankruptcy, and depression. The piece talks about the struggles everybody can go through in a lifetime and the meaning of growing old. Are we responsible for what is happening to us? Do we have the power to transform it? How is it going to end?

Heung studied at the Korea National University of Art, worked at the Korea National Contemporary Dance Company, and then moved to Poland. In 2019, he joined Aura Dance Theatre in Lithuania, where he works with different international choreographers.
He likes to combine various movement techniques (break dancing, martial arts, flow acrobatics, improvisation skills, hip hop). In the last few years, he has been working with his partner Marine Fernandez. In 2023, he created his solo piece ‘Speechless’ which has been performed at the Sai International Dance Festival Tokyo, Solo Dance Contest – Gdansk, and Solo Dance Ankara.
