Part One

‘Part One’ is a personal and honest reflection on the pandemic period. Originally performed for a single spectator only, it now wants to talk to a larger audience. The short solo was created for the ‘One on One’ project at Goteborg Opera during the pandemic. Because of the COVID limitations, Katrin Hall, artistic director of the GoteborgsOperan Danskompani, came up with a creative solution: each dancer of the company would create a solo, talking about that special period, which then would be performed for one spectator only. Since then, time has passed and many other things have happened.
