A volo d'angelo

Crazy Bosnian Guy is a tour guide leading us through the streets of Mostar, in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina. A talkative and eccentric character, he has certainly earned his nickname.
As the tour unfolds, we take a trip down his memory lane: in the 1990s, he was in his twenties, and the war in the Balkans remains vivid in his mind. He recalls the wealth of Tito’s Yugoslavia, the collapse of the federation, the rise of unstable governments, the sentiment of Yugonostalgia, and the current situation.
Why should we care about a story that seems distant from us? Does remembering still have meaning today?
